March is all about news reporting.

For this week, you should write a news article based on an event that you make up.

Your article should be between 16-20 sentences long.

It must include:

  • A lead - one sentence that tells the most important information. The rest of the details come in the following sentences.

  • 2-3 quotations from an expert and witnesses.

    Mr. Starry, a head teacher at Kid’s College, says, “Quotations should look like this.”

  • Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How should all be answered.
